There are two publicly open bicycle repair stations at Leibniz Universität Hannover from Caritas Betriebs- und Werkstätten GmbH.
You can find the stations here:
- Location 1: PZH, Campus Mechanical Engineering , An der Universität 2, 30823 Garbsen.
- Location 2: NIFE, Stadtfelddamm 34, 30625 Hanover, Germany
Minor repairs to bicycles, strollers and wheelchairs can be made there at any time. Suitable tools can be found at the bicycle service columns.
There are, among other things, in and on the bike repair station:
- Manometer for checking air pressure
- Screwdriver
- Tire lever
- Nipple tensioner
- Roller fork wrench
- Bottle opener
- Multitool
- Air pump (French valve, car valve, Dunlop valve)

Step by Step
- Hang the bicycle with the saddle or the frame on the station.
- Check the air pressure using the manometer. The recommended air pressure for the tires can be found on the side of the tire in bar/PSI. Then, inflate the tire with the air pump to the desired pressure.
- Different tools are attached to the steel cables, which can be used for different repairs.
