Department 3 - Buildings Management

The Building Management Department, together with the Energy Management, Energy Cost Budgeting and Environmental Management units, is responsible for implementing a sustainable energy supply and a sustainable campus. Through its building-related tasks, Building Management supports the university’s core processes of research, teaching, student studies and continuing education. It brings together all tasks and functions relating to infrastructure, buildings and their technical systems. Energy management for the entire University of Hannover and the energy-efficient refurbishment of existing buildings and new constructions are organised and implemented here.
