Abstract

Resource efficiency becomes more and more relevant for manufacturing companies. Only qualified and committed employees can accomplish long-term competitive advantages through the enhancement of resource efficiency. This article elucidates an approach which supports companies, especially SME, to introduce individually tailored Industry 4.0 methods by using a maturity-based action guide. Among others, this approach supports the creatively designing of qualification measures.
